My First WILL - It’s a long way to go
A couple of weeks ago, before starting on a team trip, I wrote my first WILL. It was not a proud moment on account the of two reasons.
Reason 1 : I’m forced to write this to make my intentions legally clear to protect my beloved ones against (the so called) legal relatives. Reason 2 : Only while I was about to sign it, felt that I’m to do lot more in terms of reaching my final destination.
Hope someday I would be proud and happy to rewrite my WILL again.
Had a good trip with my team mates to Wayanad, Kerala, India. Probably, the peace of mind that I’ve made my intentions clear, would have been one the reasons for a happy trip. Would catch with an update on our team trip in my next blogs.

Barack Obama : Words Vs Action ?
Last night, the Democratic candidate for Presidency, Senator Barack Obama was declared to be the winner. He is the 44th President of United States of America and also he is the first African-American to be elected as the US President.
Following are some of the quotes from his maiden speech after his victory in Chicago Park :
“We may not get there in one year or in one term, ..But we will get there.”
“Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism; of service and responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves, but each other.”
“America, we have come so far, We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do.”
“.. our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared..”
Congratulations to the new Mr. President of America. Sir, we are expecting actions similar to your words.

On Birthdays
From my childhood, I don’t have the habbit of celebrating birthdays. The simple reason being, there were other big challenges to be fought then.
However, I like the idea of celebrating birthdays. Have even enjoyed in the recent past a couple of which were memorable though. Instead of celebrating the increase in our age, it should have been the celebration of some good deeds or some acheivements. What have you got to say on this?

On reaching Goals
Many times we face the question - “What happens if we reach our goal ?”. This is an intersting question to assimilate. First of, you are feeling that you have achieved or rather reached your goal, my congrats to you.
And now, before answering the question, there are two ways of looking at life. They are, those who see life 1) as a series of sprint races or b) as a single marathon race. If you feel it as a series of sprint races, your latest race result is known and get ready for the next one. And if you acknowledge life as a marathon, the game is not over, keep moving on.
So in any case, the journey continues, keep moving. It is the hope - ‘ miles to go before I sleep..’ (by Rober Frost) makes our life interesting. What have you got to say?

It all about Collaboration
At Zoho, we have launced a new offering - Zoho Share. It’s a centralized repository of public content for online collaboration. It has come out well, infact much better than what we all expected. But still, this is just the begining and we have miles to go. More information from our video, ppt and blog.
The secret of the whole success is just one word - Collaboration. It’s the collaboration between
- Zoho Services Teams
- Zoho Services APIs
- my own ‘Zoho Share’ team members
I take this opportunity to thank all those who had directly and indirectly contributed or rather collaborated to bring this so far.

What makes a Hero(ine)?
Thinking about what one wants and what he/she can, results in inaction.
If one stops thinking about the latter, they become - “HERO(INE)“.

Don’t go where the puck is, Go where it’s going to be
While reading a book, came across this nice quote by Wayne Gretzky, a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player.
“Don’t go where the puck is,
Go where it’s going to be” ~ Wayne Gretzky

A though provoking statement to ponder in depth. The masses alway go where the puck is and this differentiates the winners from the crowd. Proactive thinking always have an edge over the reactive thinking. Both are unique in their own dimensions. The grand successes of all the small experiments were attributed to this idea of betting on the future - a proactive move.
So get ready and be prepared to be proactive to succeed.

11 year old Network Administrator
Jon Penn, a 11 year old is the Network Administrator of an Arkansas school

The moment I read this information, was struck for a while and was thinking - what I was when 11 years old?. There were never such high responsibilties on my shoulders at 11. And it was twice as much this age, I became the Network Administrator of Corporate Network.
